From August 31, 2019 to January 5, 2020

In November 1919, the DJH was founded as a Germany-wide association. The main association of youth hostels has also had its headquarters in Detmold, Lippe now since 70 years running. In order not only to celebrate this double jubilee, but also to summarize and classify it from a historical point of view, central milestones in the history of the youth hostel world and their interactions with society are vividly illustrated by exhibits from all over the world.
